Owner Sheri Tornatore has more than 30 years of experience in the collectible book business. After building a five-star rating as an online bookseller under the name Tornbooks, in 2011 she opened a brick-and-mortar shop at a time when many booksellers were closing their doors. The shop moved to its new location in old Austin in early 2023.
